i was thinking about cutting my 99 ranger coil bucket out i know some guys that have done this and i know that they are really only doing this to convert it to coil-over but i wonder instead of using a coil-over maybe i could do two shocks or.... any body got some info here is some pics

 

shocks are not load bearing...they will not support weight...even it you have 40 shocks on each side youll still need some sort of spring

 

anyone have anymore pics of this on a 2wd...bout to start doing this on my 2000 2wd...for a mild travel suspension whats the best length of coilover and #'s...like a 10 inch with 750# or better off with a 14"...im goin to keep my lift spindles on and build a lca...i have lift uca's so they will be fine
