lets see a pic from the side. looks like the bottom of the skid plate sticks out kinda far in that pic.

I don't think its just for looks, it would help strengthen the entire thing as well.

Not bad at all for 200 bucks..

the only problem I think is though, It laks the strength necessary to make it a proper bumper... if anything hits it, I bet it would bend like rubber with its current setup.. as mentioned above, it may be worth it later to put some stiffer piping along in there.. triangulate it with yoru frame some more to give ome push to it if it does decide to knock into something.

^ true, but technically he went with a prerunner bumper and they are not really used for hitting things with or winching with. more or less its just a way to get a skid and some lights on the front end

And it looks good! For his needs I think Andys right, i doubt he will need much strength up there.

Well if ya think about it.. hitting a dune and over-ending it a little bit will put a HUGE smash on that front bumper.. I think what you wouldnt want is (by the looks of the picture.. cant see all the angles sadly) it needs a crossmember so if it lands somewher eon the skid or mid-bumper area, it wont jsut bend the whoel bumper into the lights..

other then that it looks fantastic, I coudl be wrong though :-) I can say.. I am impressed, its a heck of a nice truck =)
