Custom Front Bumper Estimate

Hello all,
I'm slowly compiling all the parts for my build and was looking into a front bumper. I really like the C4x4 one and the Iron Bull one, but there are a few things on one that i would like to be able to put on the other, and change the styling a little, so i was going to go the custom route. I am not sure if this could be an option for me though, i was wondering if any of you guys could point me in the right direction of who/what company to contact about fabrication of a front bumper before i hit up the local welding shop. Also what other "store bought" ranger bumpers are there out there? Iron bull and C4x4 seem to really be it, but im pretty sure I've seen one or two more just don't remember them! Thanks for the help!

Spence

Jon - A former member here makes a bumper along the lines of those other ones...I like the look of his the best:

Some more pictures are on his site here: FR3Photos

These type of bumpers are not cheap (Ford Ranger Winch Bumper) but you gotta pay to play!

He's still a member here. And yeah I think the C4x4 bumper is the cheapest out there unless you build your own.

True, I guess I technically should have said a formerly active member.

He hasn't logged into the site in almost 4 months...and hasn't posted anything in basically 14 months.

Depends if they have a CNC, their labor rate, if you weld it or if they do, and a lot more. You best bet is to call a local shop. We can only give guesses and that would be what the going rate is. So I would say $500-1000.

Yep i understand, i was just looking for a ballpark range... What do you think about having them weld in just a front hitch to the frame? (no bumper at all)

My local guys want two to three times the amount that C4x4 wants and the C4x4 Bumper is a great piece of work. Thick steel, good welding and a good design and for the $650 delivered (to MA) a lot cheaper than local shops.

Also, I was on the hunt for a quality rear bumper and talked to locals and asked around the web but always got an answer of $800-$1000 and more… NOT !
I asked C4x4 to consider making a rear bumper for me similar to their front but along the lines of a drawing I send them.
They are working on something now, price again less than half of locals and I know the quality will be there.

So, IMHO, contact C4x4 and talk to them, they are usually open to mods, and their pricing is far better, even with shipping.
Ask for Mike, talk to him about the changes you had in mind and tell him you got info of his site from the Ranger Forum.

Good Luck,
