Threaded *****..

That's right, I'm looking for a good ****!

Anybody have any thoughts on a good place w/ a decent selection of threaded ***** w/ say 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 shanks? I've built my own homebrew pano mount, but one of the problems w/ it is that you need tools to adjust it. .. Well the biggest problem w/ it is the design kinda sucks, but the tool thing doesn't help either! What I'm looking to build is something like this, only bigger. The ***** they used in this adapter are nearly perfect!

I know a couple of guys on this site are into their own metal fabbing projects, so I figured it was worth a try. Neil posted a link to www.boltdepot.com a while back, which is an interesting site I hadn't seen before. Unfortunately they don't seem to have what I'm looking for. The best I can find is products by Delta or Hama offered through camera stores. B&H carrys them, unfortunately it's a special order item and there is a pretty hefty minimum on the order. Ideally I'd like to order in 1's and 2's.. but of course at a reasonable rate.. I don't want everything, do I?!

Thanks all,

Like I said, 1/4-20 thread, maybe 1" long shanks. Handle would be ~1" diameter w/ textured edge for grip, probably w/ a ~1/4" standoff under the handle to space the **** from the top of whatever it was screwed into. Another option is a t-handle type thing, where the '****' would be a bar perpendicular to the threaded shank. I need something w/ some meat so that I can grip it and hand tighten..

The more I think about this the more I think I should just start dumpster diving and find something junked that has ***** to steal..

A **** w/ a threaded shank or shaft.. Typically used for adjusting things or operating clamps and such. Go to the pano-mount I linked to.
