New Shoes for the Fiddy!

Well I just got home from discount tire with my new shoes. So far I love them! They ride great and are quiet. I went with the 285/70/17. Up next is new wheels and that will happen within the next couple months because my current ones are corroding. I am going to go to the dealership and raise hell to see if I can get new ones. Anyway here are the pics. I will take more later today. Also I will get a leveling kit too in the next month or so.

Looks great! How is the 4.6 responding to 33" tires? I really want 285/70 next time I need tires but I'm concerned about how the 4.6 will turn them

I didn't notice any difference driving home with power or response. Seemed like stock and the speedometer wasn't off.

That's what I like to hear! I went from the stock 255/70 to 265/70 and noticed no difference at all. I hope going from 265/70 to 285/70 yields a similar result.

I have an idea but not set yet. I want something chrome but I don't want to have to deal with cleaning and polishing them and the brakes on the F150 suck for brake dust!

You might look into hell bent steel for a leveling kit. I don't know who you were thinking but that is who I bought mine from for my PW & it was a great price and a quality product.

Thats the one I will be getting. Just waiting until I get the tools to install it before I order it. Since I moved to CA I don't have any tools really.

Look at that 150 flex.

You will like those tires. I'm debating on getting those, bfg all-terrains or get a mud terrain like toyo

Go with the Nitto's. After a week, I still love them! There is a little road noise on the highway. But if you have the radio on or are talking to someone you can't even hear it.

Looks great! What size tires were you running before?

The brake dust on the 150's totally suck. It took me like 4 or 5 hours once to get my Dad's wheels clean on his.

I was running a 265 before. And it doesn't take me that long to clean the wheels. Like 2 minutes per. lol But I agree that the brake dust sucks!
