I like the style tip, but the tip looks rusty.

Yep I used the tailpipe and tip off of my Z28. No its not rusty, just a layer of dirt. It had looked alot worse cause I had just wen't mud/snow runnin' before the pic. I'm having some problems with my video camera getting some sound clips and more pics up. Don't worry I'm trying my hardest. Hardware just isn't interfacing right.

Anyway I can describe the sound to you. I'm actually surprised how much the cat converter's have softened it down. I had expected it to be unbearibly loud and obnoxious like my Z28 sounds when I switch on the cutout, but it's actually pretty sweet sounding. When you start it up cold, it's a roaring rumble at first, enough to make people standing in an Autozone parking lot look around and say "What the hell was that!?" As it warms up it sounds like a mild v8 or like a 289 mustang from the 60's. When its warm and idling, it is barely audible, more than stock but a very low rumbling like it would sound with a Flowmaster Hushpower muffler on. When you take it up to about 3,000 rpm it sounds like a v6 with an open exhaust.
Though I think I'm going to have to get a muffler because it is pretty loud inside the cab. Can't even hear my music, + it drives me just a little crazy...
Here's a better pic of the tip:

The stock exhaust on my car with those tips:
