People that want a winch mount.

People that want a winch mount.
I've been getting a few inquiries about winch mounts lately, but I have no more in stock.
For some background information. I made the kits while I was in college, when I had a little free time. I now work full time and have little to no time for a project like this.
The kits were priced at $100 a few years back, and I've never raised the price due to steel prices increasing. The new kits may go up a bit in price......I've yet to contact my supplier for price quotes.
I don't do this for money, I have a job, I do this for everyone cause I know nobody makes worthwhile mounts for Rangers.
Here's my solution. How about I create a set of detailed drawings so that anyone can build it themselves, or bring the drawings to a shop and have it built. The main tools I use are a chop saw, drill and a welder. Most can do everything up to the welding.
I work as a Mechanical Engineer, so part drawings are something I deal with on a daily basis. The drawings would be of professional quality. I can even make them to be more like step by step instructions on how to build them.
Now heres's the advantage for everyone. The drawings would come with the low low price of nothing.....that's right nothing. So you can put the $100 towards materials, and have some left over for lunch. I get comments all the time on my mount......its a good feeling saying that "I built it", now you can say the same thing .
Give a man a fish, he'll eat for a day........teach him how to build a winch mount and he'll feel pride the rest of his life.
Opinions?
