can i get pics of peoples double lifted trucks and the details of the lift nd wheels and tires, i'm trying to decide if i want to do a shackle o aal with torsion crank, but i'd like to see what kind of wheels and tires people are running with their double lifts, i'm thinking i want a 15x10 wheel and try to fit some 14 or 14.5 wide tires on them...if possible?

4.88s are good. it too a little while for the computer to relearn the shift points, but when it did its great.

 

Oh my god please don't put 14-15" wide tires on your ranger.
You have a suspension lift and body lift already, don't ruin the already marginal ride and minimal suspension travel by cranking the torsion bars up.

For some people the ride is not important, ground clearance is.

14" are too wide for our Rangers IMO. Personally I think the skinnier the better. Our trucks are not heavy at all, and we need as much efficient weight transfer to the ground as possible. With a wide tire, especially one like 14 inches wide, you will just slip in on top of the mud, not dig down and find the hard bottom to pull you through.

Look at all those Florida mud trucks, hell even look at tractors. Their tires are skinny so you do not float on top of the mud.

wow.. this makes a lot of sense... lets doulbe lift our truck 7 inches plus, then put really skinny tires on it??!! do you understand what you just said??

after i put my BL on, i still had my 33x12.5 on there and it felt like it was about to flop onn its side on every turn... i could flip it doin 20mph easily!!

my new tires are 35x14.5 and are great for the double lift

your asking for trouble with skinny tires and a tall lift... it just dont make sense!

 

Lots of extra wear on the weak front end components (ball joints, tie rod ends, wheel bearings, steering rack). Lots of extra weight (hard to stop, much harder to accelerate). Lots of extra drag. Poor wet/snow/ice traction. Very little pressure per square inch on the ground. The truck is already going to be under powered with 35's and 4.10's, don't make it worse. Even if you did wheel it, you wouldn't have enough power to plow through the mud with 14-15" wide tires anyway.
And to top it off, it's a daily driver, the wide *** tires are just going to suck all around.

I would go with 35x12.50's and not a hair bigger. Just my opinion.
