2010 Ranger Brochure

Here is the 2010 Ranger Brochure. Looks like it gets the mazda wheels on some models; they droppped the chrome 7-spoke...other than that and the new rear disc brakes, its the only thing i see differently. Pesonally, 2010 Rangers have the worst wheel options. I HATE the mazda wheels, 7-spokes, split spokes, and have always hated the new Y-Spokes that replaces the 5-spoke FX4 wheel (the ones i used to have).
And i still cant believe they dropped the FX4 for the stinkin Sport... no offense to you Edge/Sport owners, but the FX4 was way better lookin...

I saw a 2010 at the car show. Uh oh. Looks just like a Ranger. Hell it could pass for my 03 with he exception of a few minor body parts here and there. It just needs to go away. Funny how no one was looking at the Ranger.
Uh oh. Also the Raptor F150 was there. BFD!!! I will say that the 2011 Superduty looks way better than the current one.

They clipped the 3.0 liter for the 09 year, no mention of it in the 09 brochre any where and the FX4 "gone" for 2010! Ford really needs to take on the attitude of FIX it or KILL it.
I guess ford will be ford.
Can't wait for the indepedent rear Ranger......or something really out in left field...........unibody! Seems to work for that over rated ridgeline.

not a fanboy by any means.......i used to build the heaps at the plant near Toronto, the ridgeline, mdx and pilot. I was stating a fact that sooner or later ford is going to do something right (unlikely) with the Ranger or do something totally off the wall for the sake of better gas milage.........(like the nose of the new rangers aren't low enough to the ground) for the new intitiative being put forth buy the Obama administration of every vehicle being able to get 35+ plus miles to the gallon.
Its only a matter of time............IMHO the best year for the ranger (ifs model) was the 03 FX4 LII and it seems that it has been down hill ever since!
Really don't see ford keeping the ranger body on frame config much longer....which really F@#$in sucks!

I work for Honda now, and the Ridgelines are funny looking going down the line ----> big uni-body holes-----> "truck bed". It's laughable!
Anyway went to the dealership two days ago to get the recall fixed, and I pull to service and lo and behold a black 2010 F-150 SVT Raptor. IMO it looked sweet aside from the flat black "mud splash" graphics at the rear wheels, and that crap your pants window sticker.
Finally I agree that if Ford isn't going to give us the Rangers we want then let'em die. I hate the thoughts of it, but even if Ford made it the bleeding heart eco fanatics would kill it.

Odd, but I like the fact that the newest Rangers look so similar to some of the oldest Rangers. Having a small truck with the most options and most modern styling doesn't always equal best selling truck - pretty sure that the Ranger outsold/outsells Nissan Frontier, Mitsubishi Raider, Colorado, Canyon, Dakota, Ridgeline. If the Ranger looked basically the same in 2025 I'd buy one, as long as it was still a solid dependable truck.

Its hilarious that they cant even do something as simple as bring the Rangers headlight style into the 21st century with the brazilian 1-piece lamps. Guess that's just asking too much for the AMERICAN Ranger in 2010. LOL.
