Brand new guy here. Since Ranger is being discontinued, any compelling reason not to buy one?
I am thinking about a Sport or XLT, 4x2, 4.0L, auto trans
Any techs/front end/alignment gurus speak about the torsion on the sport vs the coils on the XLT? May or not do a 4"-6" lift on it after a few years.
How about the CA vs 49 state truck? I can buy either, so thinking about the 49 state one if there is any component or plumbing difference.
Its just going to be a driver for errands, no heavy hauling, offroad abuse, etc.
Other option is a Tacoma. I have owned taco 4cyl trucks since 1986, and had a 98 Ranger 3.0 for 5 years. I like both trucks.
