Went shopping for Pads and Rotors w/ mini teaser

Canadian Tire had a sale on Monroe brakes so i went and picked up a new set of pads and rotors. My pads have 2 years on them and rotors are warped, I can feel them pulse when i stop so i figure it was time for a overhaul. I bought some caliper paint as well, just as well while I'm at it.

I smashed my valance within a year of having the truck, and for the last 2 years have been rockin' no valance, but I decided to put another one back on until i can come up with a better idea for a front bumper, every time I post pics people ask about the valance, so this will finally shut them up. haha Plus even I am getting sick of looking at the rad and crossmember. Should have it back on today after work

Any pic you can find of my truck on here will be without a valance since I havnt had one since I joined, go to my threads and you will find some.

I just realized that I am missing the honeycomb inserts around the fogs. Not sure what i did with them when i pulled it all apart.. I have some carbon fibre kicking around that i could make some with! hmmmm

So I got some new fog lamp inserts, they came with the valance, they were in the bottom of the bag in their own little bag and just found them. But its pissing rain and crazy winds so it looks like it may be sitting on the floor in my house for the night unless it clears up before dark,,, I need a house with a garage :(

But seeing I cant get this done tonight I still may make some carbon fiber inserts to cover up the honeycomb and see how it looks.

Haha, I know what you mean about the rain! Its been raining over here in Ontario the past 3 weeks! Only with one or two nice days in a row... How can you keep a vehicle clean in this weather?!

I know, the weather went from 30degrees 2 weeks ago to cold and rain, I hate it!

Here is the reveal/or at least progress on my mini-teaser. I am going to bring it to work tomorrow so I can do it inside where its warm and dry, and can use my air tools rather than wrenching all those little bolts. Brakes will be put off until later this week or weekend.

Then I have to do the flares to match!! I was going to get them all done in line-X but it would cost like $500 or something dumb. So I put that on hold. I'm not going to bother with painting them all body colour, I am going to paint the truck black as soon as I have an excuse to.

You can get the spray on bedliner in a can. Stuff runs like 20 bucks a can.

I was going to do it because line-x is tough sh*t and would keep my valance from shattering as easily as the last one. And of course would need the flares done to match. After waiting 2 months for one from one dumbass I first tried to get it through I went to another distributor yesterday and they gave it to me for a super good deal and had it the same day! so if I break it I can get another one easily enough. I was considering doing spray on stuff myself but It can look a little ghetto, so If anything I am just going to paint them flat black instead of dark grey but that will be a project for next summer.

Krylon fusion satin black is the winner then.

I work at a body shop and it's through one of our distributors AMP. The list on it was 230 but I got it for 170 plus tax, I'm sure dealership must be $300+
