96 Explorer
Can anyone tell me if the running gear from a 96 explorer will swap into a 95 ranger. The ranger is a 4.0 4x4 auto. The explorer is a v-6 auto 4x4? the owner is not sure what v6 he has and i'm not sure either. Did the explorer have both the 3.0 and the 4.0?

I believe the Explorer was available with a 4.0 or a 5.0 v8.
Either 4.0 is available , push rod or OHC
