Black Headlights & Corner Lights off eBay

I've had my eye on these for quite some time now. I've also read the "How-to's" about making these yourself.

My question for those who have purchased these off eBay is, how do they hold up after some time of use? Do they fog up like some of the aftermarket eBay tail lights and corner lights? Can the adjuster screws off the original headlights be swapped out to the eBay ones?

Just would like to hear some testimonials form actual buyers and tester before sinking that kind of money down on a set.

I have had mine for almost 2 years with NO problems at all. I also tried to paint mine before I got the ebay lights. It came out great, but one ended up not sealing up good and got water in it bad.

Painting the headlights are really easy, you just have to take your time!!!! I've done a couple set's and they've turned out great. A lot cheaper than buying them IMO..

Agreed, save yourself some money and just do it yourself. It really isn't hard to to do at all.

I have some of the ebay headlights. With mine the turnsignal bulb doesn't fit quite right and I had some leakage issues.

They got full of muddy water on my last good stuck. I was pissed, but got them as clean as I could and siliconed the **** out of them.

Also the paint on the tips of those cheap bulbs they give you will flake off inside your headlight.

They look good, but mine have been a pain in the ***!! Not sure if mine were just defective or what.

I've had mine for over a year and they perform great. quality is GREAT! damn near or even at factory quality. no moisture in them as of yet....heck...i've had 'em on my truck for over a year and i bought them used off here from a guy who had 'em for 6months on his truck.

do it.

little brothers truck has 'em on it, mike's truck has 'em, many members have them as well...just do it. plus, having an extra set, you can always completely change the look of the truck.

Thats a weird looking adjuster. My ebay lights came with one like my stock head lights. I dont believe you can swap those out.

From what I remember, my adjuster was just on backwards. All I had to do was screw it off, and then flip it around. I'll be able to take a closer look at it tomorrow.

Yeah that's all I did on mine and they look like the same ones. I'm kind of confused on how you stripped it. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to just screw the factory one on there.
