I did it tonight, but since I'm not terribly electronics savy, and my resident auto electrician was out of service tonight, it took me about an hour to do myself, and I needed a jump to get going afterwards, drained the battery fooling around. It is a very easy mod though, and it looks so much better when it's done.

Cut the black ground wire from the corner
Extend the end of that black wire coming from the corner by adding more wire of the appropriate gauge.
Tee that extended wire into the hot turn signal wire of the park/turn lamp on the same side of the truck as the corner.
Turn signal hot wire colors:
PS= white w/light blue stripe
DS= light green w/ white stripe
Remember that these connections will be exposed to weather for years to come. It is in your best interest to make reliable connections now and protect them from corrosion.

It's a bit difficult to imagine how this will look on a 98~2000. Unlike the 2001+, you already have a wraparound double turn signal at the lower corner. When the headlights are off, there would be just one more blinking in unison with the other two. When the headlights/parking lights are on, the corner will alternate flashing with the two original blinkers below it. That might look cool but, then again, it's hard to visualize.

I'll get a picture of my 2000 when I get home tonight. I just got me a new case of beer, and that means a few are goin down in the garage when I get home to relieve the stress of Quality Assurance "firefighting" all day long.

ok so i took my turn/corner off just now and on the corner i have: a brown wire, and a black wire...
and on the turn i have a green/white wire and then some otehr one... so i connect the black corner wire to the green/white turn signal wire...?
now do i just connect the corner to one? or to both my turn signals since the gen 4's have 2bulbs per signal?

I did this to my 2004 and they both blink at the same time. I thought, from the way everyone talked, that they would alternate. I still like it though.
