any chance this camper shell fits on my truck?
it came off a 97 dakota. its a pretty nice snugtop shell, going for REALLY cheap.

I think the Dakota is a couple of inches wider than a Ranger. You may be able to make it fit, but it probably wouldn't look right.

No, in 1997, the Dakota came with a short bed (6.5) or an 8' bed. Rangers are all 6 or 7. Also, the Dakota is about 7" wider than our Rangers.

yeah i was thinking the Dakota bed was longer so no it wont work

i had a lo-pro toolbox on my 97 dakota and i tried to fit it on my ranger and the ranger is 2-3+ inches skinnier than the dakota
