Anyone seen this...Factory Ford toolbox bed

I know it's an F150. I really like this! Factory Ford toolbox bed. I didn't believe it was from Ford, but it's right on the build sheet and window sticker.

I have seen them in person before. They are weird the first time you see it but I guess it would be useful. I would rather have a bigger cab to store stuff though.

Eww. They added that box instead of making some type of "removable bed toolbox" so you're forced with an extremely long bed and a big never usable chunk that you cant put stuff. Seems like the aftermarket has better options if you're looking for toolboxes.

It would be very handy for me, I'm always dragging my tools around and it would be nice to have them easily accessible without jumping in and out of the bed all the time to get stuff out of the toolbox. I'd like a service truck and looked at a lot of them, but the beds are too narrow to haul anything. Seems like a good crossover idea.

I can't imagine that would be cheap to fix/replace if it gets smashed up. It would be nice to have though.
