Why are these lights so expensive?
The cheapest I've seen them has been $1800 on eBay. Why is this? I'm not in the loop when it comes to auxiliary lighting, so what makes these special? They're Hella 4000 Rallye's.
I wanted to mount two of them side by side on my front bumper in front of the grille like the old GT500's:

these are your standard 4000shttp://www.amazon.com/HELLA-H1256003...=pd_sim_auto_1
They also have the 4000i which is HID that is around 450-500 bucks per light. The lights in the picture appear to be the 4000i's.

Another question: I ordered some Hella fog lights yesterday, and I expect them next week. My truck is pre-wired for fog lights behind the dash and underneath the hood, but doesn't have the relays. If I install the relays, cut the pigtail off of some junkyard Explorer fog lights and splice it into the Hellas' wiring, will that work?
