Truckin around with loose doors
Ok, so i have fixed up my truck from its previous problems but just one thing is bothering me...
so my truck has the supercab with the pair of suicide doors in the rear and two regular doors in the front...
I have reason to believe that the doors are not latching "tight" enough. because if i hit a bump hard enough the driver door "shifts" quite a bit and also, the door creaks, and i believe that is because the door is loose enough to move and it is rubbing the rubber that surrounds the door causing a creaking sound. and on the other side, it sounds as if wind is coming into the cab at 40+ mph. I've also watched the suicide door on the passenger side shift as i was going up my bumpy driveway...
So, is there any way you can "tighten" the doors?

I'm actually interested in the answer to this myself as I think my drivers side door is a little loose. I haven't exactly gone out and investigated this other than looking at the door latches themselves and I don't see an easy way to adjust them. The upper and lower latches on the "suicide" doors do not appear to be adjustable, nor does the latch on that door that engages the main door. The main doors latching assembly is held on by 3 screws, and I do not see any obvious adjustment there. I did notice on the suicide doors on the lower side a rubber plug that looks like it might cover some sort of adjustment assembly and I was going to check that this weekend. Way2xtreem, what rubber stops are you referring to?
