added cruise control

I purchased a leather steering wheel, servo, cable and clockspring from a guy off ebay for $120 shipped, much better than the dealer wants($300). Anyways it was all plug n play. The only thing I had to do was jumper the wires that go to the deactivation switch on the master cylinder. I had to do this because my truck doesnt have the deactivation switch, but the wiring is there for it. Anyways thought I would post this in case others are interested in doing this to theirs. My truck is a '06, the parts are off of a '04.

Wow....I just sold my clockspring and wiring for much cheaper than that, but the servo wasn't included.

Great job! Let's see some pics of that wheel!

I am too lazy to take it off the truck. I drive WAY to fast to use it I am constently flooring it and passing people and slamming on my brakes.

It's one 10mm bolt to remove the bracket, and one clip on the cable, then one wire harness. Why are you too lazy to spend 2 minutes under the hood and make some $$???

i got cruise on my 2000 that someone can buy. I just need to figure out what all needs to go with it. I just took the airbag out, and dont need the cruise as it prolly wont work with my setup anyways.

If you'd like, take the servo/cable assembly out from under the hood. It's very easy to remove, and I sold mine for $50 on ebay. It only cost 7.50 to ship!

They don't go far. The connect to the clockspring harness, so you'd only have to unplug it behind the airbag.

The servo and cable is easy to get, but you will need to pull the steering wheel, steering column cover, and lock cylinder to get the clockspring out.

I use cruise as much as I can. I've really missed it since I got this truck.

The guy I bought the wheel, clockspring, servo and cable from also sent me the steering column with all switches and covers on it even tho I didn't ask for it.
