i did a fleet of rangers at work today. all 30k services on four 4.0 4x4 rangers. They must run these puppies hard. I have no pics. But they had a fan on the front side of the radiator in the Grille area??? do you see any benefit to this ? it was sucking air and pushing it to the clutch fan.

 

They probley had one overheat at one point and got all paranoid.

 

maybe the trucks have to idle alot and this is extra protection
