Heavily considering a new ranger....'97 3.0L 2wd..need info.
Hi,
I'm heavily considering buying a ranger thats just down the street from me. It's a '97 Supercab 2dr, 2wd, 3.0L, 5spd. It's the green-blueish kinda color w/ tan interior. Best part....only has 77k on the odometer. $3000 is the asking price.
My questions....Are there any problem areas with the vulcan of this vintage? Other than the slave cyl that every manual ranger has...what other problem areas should I look out for?? I expect better mileage compaired to my 4.0 4x4.
My plans are to lift it on 31s and throw my 8.8 under it, whenever I get a 31spliner for the '01. Or I'll just slam the biatch. who knows...lol.
Thanks for any help.
Shane
