Darn the bad luck

So after working my usual 9pm to 6am shift I inform my dad when I got home I dont wanna go to Canada with him today for a weekend long family picnic type deal. I figured I had to much to do this weekend. Well as usual sleep didnt show up till about 10am and not a second later my old man wakes me up to help him push his truck off the road. Seems the B4000 he got ate the fuel pump. Awesomely enough he had just put a sending unit holder on there a few days ago as the old one had holes in it. Well they dropped the tank to do that but now the tank is full so off comes the bed. Not a bad ordeal but sucks when you are by yourself. Now with the bed off I can get at the sending unit. Of course Advance Auto says "we can have that tomorrow morning for ya". So 71 bucks later I walked out with one on order. Whilst I was there I picked up the needed crap to do an oil change on my ranger. So get home and put the old sending unit back in the B4000 just to keep crap outta the tank. Well as anyone would I tried to start it and whoa she fired up. Musta rattled the pump enough so it worked. Either way not gonna risk it by driving it more than out of the garage. While laughing to myself I glanced at the rear exposed frame to notice both hangers and shackles are shot. By shot I mean hanging by a thread. Great one more thing to deal with. So far today all Ive done is not sleep and change the oil in my truck but I get to work on my dads truck all weekend. Seems like I should have went on the trip. I guess this thread is pointless just needed to vent my frustration however little and irrelevant it might be.

That's how it goes man. You start looking into one problem and find 3 more to deal with. Good luck on the work man.

YES. Converting to a pre-runner while traveling at highway speeds is not recommended.

lol Ive had a one ton truck do that before so thats why this truck doesnt see pavement till the hangers and shackles are fixed. When they let go on the big truck it canted the rear end and drove me off the road. Fortunately into an open field but still a bad ride
