Strenght of the Waag bar..
this is the Waag Bar for those that dont have one, or never seen one:
I am wondering what the push strength is. Like, I know its not THAT strong when it comes to actual strength before it causes major damage, But im wondering, Say for instance I want/need to push another vehical, Would it work? What would you say, the weight limit of the other vehical would hafta be before you would shy away from trying to push it? Also, what sort of 'prep' if any would u do/consider before youd attempt to push another vehical?

well see, I gotta move the red cube van before i can move the boat... I gotta get the boat off the lawn and ontop the driveway this spring. and then, put the truck back where it was. The tractor doesnt have enuff power to pull it up over some broken concrete we got, and last time we moved the red cube van, we had to park our other white cube van sorta behind it but off to one side and use a come-along to crank the red cube van back to where its supposed to be, and even that only half worked cause the white truck started to slide on the grass... so i think with the tractor + skid chains, and my truck pushing, it shouldnt be too much of a hassle. the real joy is gonna come when i gotta junk that truck sometime over the summer...

The weak points are going to be the brackets which would bend first. Then probably the bolts for the brackets. I would suggest making sure you are perfectly straight on and not at any kind of angle. Those brackets might hold up to compression but aren't going to do much for off-angle strength.
