level kit/tires
hey all,
i have a 2010 ranger sport 4x4...
had a stupid idea to throw 22s on my truck a couple months back.... went wheeling this weekend and changed my mind.
couple questions,
should i do a level kit or torsion keys? dont want anything to serious.
ive heard a leveling kit is the way to go.
also i want to do 31" tires and dont know if i should do 18s or 20s on those 31s. any oppinions?? will the 31s rub also or wil they clear. dimensions on the 31 would be the best??

16 or 17s are the largest for a 31. anything else looks stupid and would get destroyed on the trail.
31"s on the stock rims would be fine. 31x9 or 10 is your best bet. after that you'd need a different rim offset.
look in the suspension section for your keys/leveling kit answer. the thread is called 08 prekey something or other. it's stickied at the top. about 8 pages long or so.
search is your friend. welcome to the site.

I'm glad you realized it was stupid. But sometimes you cannot undue what is done. Please go outside right now and put a for sale sign on your Ranger. Then go buy a civic. It is all you deserve. Good day sir.

31's will not rub at all bone stock lol
really though if you want to do any kind of wheeling do a 3" suspension lift. you will clear 33's with small rubbing if any at all
and 18's are still alittle overkill because if you are wheeling you wont have much sidewall for protection
shoot for like some 285/70/17's :)

If he was 07 and below he could run 32s and 33s with just cranking.

Yes I am aware he's 4x4 and torsion lol. Its the same as my 2wd edge. Which you CAN get a 3"spindle lift for. Which last time I checked is a suspension lift not a body lift lol. And I'm clearing 31.2" tires with no adjustment of my t-bars. All I had to do to fix my "rub" was take my mudflaps off.
