Actually doesn't a 92 have gutters. If so you wouldn't need to screw any adaptor in at all.

Here is a post I made awhile back, I fixed the pics for ya.

https://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2...107#post119107

As far as the mounting, I am thinking you would sit the bar itself in between the gutter and the roof without the brackets. Then use the L shaped brackets that screw into the side for the bar and secure them under the gutter.

The bars go for anywhere from $100-$150 from where I have looked.

man, again.... work on your titles. with a title like this (that happens to be the same as most of your others) a lot of people wont even come into the thread to see what youre asking. im not trying to be mean, but with a more descriptive title, then someone who KNOWS the answer to the question will come in to answer it

i actually did install it. i didn't do the wiring, though.

it wasn't that it would/wouldn't fit...

kc just didnt know how it would. so what they did was gave me the kit, told me to install it, so on and so forth...

if i had to fab anything to make it work, let them know, that way they could tweak it...

but before that, they never advertised them for being available for newer model rangers..

To be honest, i didnt even know you had the light bar christian, your roof rack makes it look like its one piece, and not the rack and the light bar. We do care about you! W/O you this place wouldnt exsist! and that would be a tragedy!

I hope to have a kc light bar one day, i also hope to have 4x4 one day.......

Why is Zach the so called KC light whatever person, when Christian had all the lights before. And a KC rack and all..

I dont get it..

In that case, i was the first ever person with lightning wheels on a ranger.

I was the first ever with white cobra r's on a black edge.

Whelen Makes a flat bar that goes across the top of the truck, kind of like the frame to a lightbar(Emergency Warning Lightbar) Same think it uses gutter hooks if you have gutters. Basically it just depends on what look you are going for. The KC Bar has more of an Off-Road Look and would probably look better.

Just as a reference Aluminum Whelen Cross Bars come in 48", 56", 65", & 72" there price to you is 127.40 plus shipping.

but zach does know more about kc, i would imagine...

my next ranger, i already have the rack design drawn up...

i wont be doing a bar/rack combination...

it'll just be a roofrack... kinda along the lines of buckgnarly's... in that i want mounts built for the jack, shovel, axe, etc...
