A/c troubles

I just bought a 98 Ford Ranger about 2 months ago and can't seem to find whats wrong with the a/c, it only blows warm air. We just replaced the clutch and the A/C Receiver dryer/ Accumulator. Had it vacuum and filled with freon last night and is still blowing warm air. This morning we checked and the freon is completely empty and the clutch is not turning, and when it does is turns very slowly. Any advice on what could be the problem would be great. Thanks

You obviously have a leak. If there is no freon in your A/C lines, then your A/C clutch wont engage, until a certain amount is refueled back into the system.
You need to have you AC system checked for leaks, then fix the leaks....Most common is rubber seals dry rotting, etc
