I thought it was redicilus. Nice truck though!
that shows how good they hold their value

Pretty nice looking truck.

If It was me, I would have got the manual, but I just prefer selecting my own gears.

coil-overs, outer toe shocks, double cab, and electric outlet in the bed, what's not to love?
Does the back up camera play blu ray and is it 1080p?

Thanks again everyone. I'm stoked. They do make manual double cab models just not for CA.

the frames on the tacomas have been on recall for years for rotting out. they are offering free frame swaps to all tacoma owners as long as the frame fails there tests. two days with your truck and they swap everything over to a brand new frame

Where is the cone in bed pictures?

Nice choice. I almost bought a brand new one out of high school (06, lol), but couldn't justify the payments on my menial salary at the time.

And don't worry about the guys not dealing with you on the Chevy. They didn't want to deal with me either, but I guess they were hurting enough to give me a call back.

That is only on the Sport model. The Sport comes with 17" rims, thicker sway bars, weaker shocks and no locker.

To all the rust comments: I'm not worried about that at all. As said before I'm in CA. It only snows in the mountains and a few places up north. It doesn't snow enough to where the roads need to be salted. Also there are a million tacos running around out here and I have never seen one with a rust issue. If for some reason it does happen I have a 7 year 100,000 mile warranty.

Same here, i bought stupid extended warranty. My payments could have been $301 a month, but instead they are 336 a month because I opted to buy extended warranty and GAP insurance on truck. I wanted the GAP for sure and the only reason I bought the ex. warranty is because he knowcked $600 off of it

I bought an extended warranty on my Dodge when I bought it. I had a few things that needed to be fixed within a week (mostly gunked up parts from sitting so much) and they covered nothing. I cashed out my warranty and put it in a money market account with my uncle who is a broker. Now I have made about 10% on my warranty money and I have the money there if I need to replace anything.

And the finance guy still probably made a killing! lol
People come in to dealership and will fight fight fight for hours on the price of the vehicle. The sales person runs their asses off and bends over backwards and ends up making $100 off of the sale.
Then customers go to finance, and the finance guy bends the customer over and sells them gap for full price, adds 1 or 2 points on the interest and sells an extended warranty and makes a killing for 30 minutes of work because people don't understand that process.
Warranties, gap, etc is all negotiable if you guys didn't know that. I don't buy warranties any more but I do buy gap. Most places charge around $300 or more for gap I think, I've been paying $200, and going to the dealers with my own financing through a separate bank or credit union. The extended warranties are like gambling, the house wins big time in the end. If you have the cash, savings or even room on a credit card for potential problems you are way better off in the end NOT buying extended warranty (unless you bought a Chevy maybe).
