Need opinion on this Ranger pickup.
Hey guys. Been over 6 years since I've been on the forum. Got a question for you guys. I'm looking at another Ranger pickup...

2002 Ranger EDGE 2wd.
-140K miles
-California Truck
-3.0L V6
-5 speed
-No real thrills inside. Manual everything, Rubber floor, AM/FM CD.
-Newer tires
-No rust on body
-Drives down the road good
My dealership said I could buy it for what they own it for.
$3300
Is this a good deal?

Since it's an older vehicle, and I have some crappy credit the owner of the dealership said he would do a personal loan though him. So hopefully he comes back with some good numbers. *fingers crossed*
Edit: He came back with some good numbers! I bought it!

It's sitting outside right now in the snow, and it's dark out. I'll see if I can get some pictures of it tomorrow. I've been reading up the the "Edge" package. It uses the same torsion bar suspension as the 4x4 models. That's pretty neat. Would explain the 4x4 stance. I love it!
Yes, not to many used Rangers in any of the car lots I pass on my way to work, not even the Ford dealer. I just turn 44,000 on my 07 2.5 and never had a bit of trouble with the truck in any way. Good luck with you ranger...
Our Rangers are almost twins. I have an 08' 4 * 2 Ext. cab, automatic, 4 door, DSG with 68,000 miles on it, and I, too, haven't had any issues. In fact, I have the OEM Continental Contitrac tires.
