re-assure me

ok i literally BURIED my truck the other day, id say 3/4 of my tires were under in the mud. The axle was deffinately below. Ok, now, i havnt washed anything off yet, as i like a dirty look, but im getting vibrations at 50+.

Mud in the wheels right? Pretty sure the tires are just unbalanced bc of all the mud, and i havnt gotten a chance to go out and take a good look. im 99% sure thats what the problem is but i just thought id throw it by here.

More than likely it is mud on the rims since you were in that deep. but i also damaged my front drive shaft one time and it shook when driving.

start with mud on the tires, don't consider anything else until that's been cleaned up and it's been driven again.

Yeah, it's just mud. Nothing a pressure washer can't fix.

Make sure you check on the inside of your rims as well. When I go in the deep stuff around here, it takes a good 5 mins each wheel with a pressure washer to get everything off.

I've had that happen but I had snow that melted and turned to ice. Then I drove home (6 hours) with the truck shaking like crazy. Finally I get back to Phoenix and it was almost gone (the shaking). Hose off your truck well and you should be fine.
