im sold on fords! near death experience!
holy... wow.
ok i just got home from going off roading. and this was the scariest situation ive ever been in! i literally thought my truck was going to roll. im not even close to joking. it was the most intense and closest thing i've ever been to death. ok im climbing a hill and i hit a patch of really sandy, dusty loose dirt. my front tires lost all traction and slid off the trail. now mind u im climbing a ridge with a hill on both sides of the hill. so my front end was off the trail and my truck's suspension was fully maxxed out. my truck was at a huge angle and was about to roll over. me and my friend who was with me were trying to dig my truck out and get back down the hill. but the front end just kept sliding. finally we called my dad and right then (thank God) my friend Austin showed up out of nowhere in the hills! it was just a coincidence! he had our tow strap. sweet! my dad came out, and he has ALOT of experience off roading. like seriously more than u realize. he got out there, saw my truck and had no idea how to get it out. i freaked. finally after a couple hours (at least it seemed like that) my dad took his truck down the hill from the top and we hooked our front ends together. he drove off the other side of the ridge and pulled my truck back up onto the ridge. he just drove straight down but i had to back my truck out. it was intense! wow. talk about an adreniline rush!!!!!!!!!!! THANX SOOO MUCH GOD, DAD, MATT AND AUSTIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and u kno how people say fords roll easy? BS! my truck was so far leaned over it would have rolled if the high side would have been a couple inches higher. wow... im glad my truck is in one piece.

I almost rolled my truck wheeling 2 months ago. Going down into was/river bed wheels turned wrong way. Rear end lifts up a ways. My camera man freaked and that is why the part of my tip/almost roll clip in the video (in my sig) is cut short. I always get on 3 wheels on that trail but this spot was washed out from the rains. My mirror was inches from the dirt/rock wall beside me once the truck settled. If I really wanted to I could have not held onto the gas but I didn't ralize that when my passenger moved the whole truck leaned and shifted further towards rolling.
