How about calm down and don't get your panties in a bunch over nothing, thanks. Sheesh.
(And I did go on and check it before I commented).
If you save yourself 10 cents per gallon, that would come out to about $1.70 in savings. That is about a 1/2 a gallon of gas. That is about 8 miles of travel for the average 16mpg our trucks get. So in the end, you drive all over kingdom come to get to the gas station that is 10 cents less and you've effectively cancelled out your savings, maybe even spent more.
My point is, there is very little difference when it comes to the major gas stations. We all know that the corner mom & pop station is going to be an arm and leg more due to lower volume, I don't need a website to tell me that and it skews the results making the gap look bigger than it really is.

we have one here too (dallasgasprices.com/). this is for regular. i have to buy premium so add 20 cents/gal. i only put 10-20 miles per day on my truck so it's not hurting to bad. still that's money i could be spending on mods.

hey! that $1.70 looks alot nicer in my pocket than theirs!
around here tho, stations are paying $2.96 a gallon, that what kwik fill is paying for a gallon of gas on the WHOLESALE market. heh. gas stations are LOSING money on gasoline, only cause the bigger stations would put them under if they tried to price themselves to break even. to break even a gas station NEEDS to make 13 cents on a gallon, JUST TO BREAK EVEN.

Fireranger, You're thinking of one tank of gas. Think of hte longterm. The gas savings are definately worth it. You ***** about gas prices but saving money is too hard? And isn't it more efficient to plan out your trip exactly? Instead of driving until you need gas.
Why don't you hop into hthe <2k threads and explain with your logic how getting 1 mpg only saves 2 $ a tank sucks. your logic sucks!
