The seat mod and Exploerer console are great until you have a girlfriend and she can't sit right next to you. That really sucks! For the first time since I put the console in I really miss my old bench seat!

Anybody else have this problem?

 

lol, that's why I haven't done it. When I suggested it, she said no.

 

but she can still lean over the bench to give you road he...i mean, to hug...

 

haha yeah.. i could see doing it if i have an ext cab.

but im with dane about the road hug.

 

Yea, I still would rather have one so that when I do get a g.f, she won't be messing w. me driving down the road.

Not if you've got a gear shifter in the way! It jabs her in the side and she complains... alot.

There are ALOT more possibilities when you've got the bench seats though...

 

But you'll get less he...I mean hugs if it's a hassle for her to lean over every time.

 

Mine has never complained about the shifter in her way

Well, all you extended cab guys have the room for all that, but standard cab sucks for ess eee exx with or without bench seats. So I put in the buckets, and a console. (I gotta get an explorer console though)

ya i would still rather have it there. drove my moms explorer sport alot back when she had it...i liked it... plus dont do to much in the truck. usually driving to a place that we can do that at lol...
