Newby saying Hi!

Hi folks,

I am new to this forum. I have owned a Ranger since 1994. My baby was blue with a long bed and 4cyc/5speed. Only 80K on the ticker when I was rear ended and totaled.

My new Ranger is a 2000 crew cab. It has a 3.0 and an automatic (2 wd). Normal stuff with electric windows and remote entry. I like it so far but the mileage isn't like the old 4cyc. Can't have everything. I think I am getting around 17 in town. The 4 cyc. would do 20 or better all the time.

I am obviously a Ranger fan. I noticed the handling is a bit different and I understand they changed suspensions in 99. Overall it seems to be a great truck with only 20K on the ticker.
