Some people hate them some like them. i like them lol. My question is do any companies make the for our trucks that are not in-channel? I've takin mine off so many times and re taped them that they just don't fit any longer.

fits inside the widow channel instead of being taped to the outside of the vehicle.

They are a little larger and offer more protection from wind and rain. I need a new set myself. Brand name that I have is Vent Shade

Do you have any pictures you could post up?

I would like to see how they look on the truck.

I have the in-channel ones from AVS and they work great. What I did to make them stick better is got some cloth and some rubbing alchohol and cleaned the window channel aggressively since if it is dirty they won't stick. The alchohol pads are just not enough. The instructions say you can roll down your windows after 24 hours but I left mine up for 3-4 days and have had no problems. I got mine for about $40 at Autozone and they sell both in-channel and stick-on. Make sure the area is super-clean and use wax and grease remover to where they mount. I hope this helps.

I bought in-channel ones from Ford for less money than tape on style from auto parts store. Came with micro sized scuff pad and alcohol wipes for prepping. So far they've been holding good, even in 100+ temps.
