Hey everyone, got a question. My ranger has had nothing but problems for me. Broken rack and pinion, stuck lifter replaced, now something is wrong with the engine where it whines really bad when I get past 30 and it knocks really bad at idle. I guess I'm really tired of dealing with this vehicle, because I've taken it to ford dealerships, and they never can seem to fix the problems that go wrong with this truck.
I really like the ranger and it's capabilities, so I've been thinking about getting a different one. I found one http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/cto/807058048.html
that I like. It's an 89 Ranger, 4x4, with a 4 banger and a 5 speed manual. It apparently only has like 73,000 miles on it. Basically I'm wondering if it would be a smart idea to sell my truck now before it gets even more problems and buy an older truck? Or if I should hang onto mine and try to fix all the stuff wrong with it? I'm really asking you guys, because you know the most about rangers.
Any advice would help, and I'm sorry if this is kind of a weird question
