i was just reading on the truckin web site that ford is no longer selling rangers in the US as of 09.... is this true? and if so are they going to introduce a ranger with a new name?

 

Yeah thats been going around for like the last year. Theres rumors about a new truck but nothing definite yet.

Thats one thing that isn't clear for me either, whether dropping in '09 means- no sales in 09 (only old stock), or 09 final year to get one if you want it.
When the side airbag law becomes active is when I heard they'll can it for good. I want to say its active on 09 but not 100% on it.

 

2009 is supposed to be the last model year for the Ranger.
