Brush Guard Install (Need simple help)

Hey im trying to install my brush guard i have the mounting brackets installed on my truck, but when i go to put the brush guard on the brackets, I Dont know how it mounts on the mounting brackets.

One on the inside of the bracket and one on the outside? or if they both mount on the outside
