Yes, we are ok thank God. It was just scary as hell. Right before the tire flew off, the truck pulled to the left for a second. Before I had time to get over, next thing I know the tire flies off and the truck hits the ground. Sparks going everywhere. Lost my brake but kept it under control. We were going 70 with traffic. Luckly no one got hurt. I let it come to a stop on the side of the road. Got the truck trailered home and going to take a good look at it tomorrow. I know my fender is screwed. Haven't made my mind up if I am going to fix it myself or go through insurance and most likely get it totaled.

Look at the spindle. Does it look like the bearing failed or do you think it just got that hot when it snapped?

Sounds horrible. Nothing worse then a broken vehicle.

I bet insurance fixes it...

Talked to insurance and they won't fix it since it is a mechanical failure.

Getting parts to fix it at Christmas. Looking now for a set of stock size tires for the truck.

Any idea what caused it? Was it a stock spindle or the fabtech one?
