Changed the oil Mobil One with 820
Lubed uppers, lowers, TRE
Replaced ALL U-Joints Lubed them
Replaced Front pinion seal
Replaced front diff fluid
Tightened up sway bar end links and gave them a nice coating of grease.

 

Painted the faded-out door handles satin black. 52 degrees in dead of ?winter? here in new england. Don't know if I should be happy or scared lol Hope it doesn't fade too quick. Also, vacuumed simple green treatment to the vinyl floor. Does anyone know how to get the stains out of the fabric in my seats??

 

She got her first oil change today. Took her in, rotated the tires, topped off the fluids, checked the brakes, washed her up, she look almost new again... and just think only 5000 miles ago she was.

the other day i added 4 Whelen LIN 3 lights, two front in the grille, and two rear on either side of the third brakelight, along with a hidden switch.

soon to come are 4 Whelen Vertex for the front markers and reverse lights.

 

I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE.

 

It may be a little labor intensive, but you can do what I did and partially disassemble your seats and remove the fabric covers. I threw mine in the washing machine and dried them gently in the dryer. They came out looking brand new and smelling very nice. I hated taking the seats apart, but it was worth it!

got a bit stupid coming out of the parking lot at work after i got off for the day and slid my stx out onto the road a bit sideways on the rain slick road lol

 

Took 860 pounds of scrap metal-mostly cast iron from my old boiler that we had replaced last month-to the scrap yard today. It was 45 degrees here today, so it was pretty muddy at the recyclers.

got my OHC painted and mounted up today...just need to do the wiring now...may do that tomorrow

 

decided to get a hitch for it to go along with the trailer wiring hookup plug thats already under it. havent bought it yet though since for now all my money is going to the repairs on the house i just bought

 

The business i Co-own has 4 new Super Duty trucks.
I'd probably sell mine, its the only way i'd get enough cash quick enough to buy a new one.

 

Understandable. Well At least with a diesel you can run an economy tune an get some pretty decent mpg's.
So you still have the ranger right? I think I remember in another thread you don't??? That was a while ago so I don't remember.
Lastly so are buying a brand new one, or just new to you? That's just a curious question.

 

His super duty's are gas. He has a ranger.
