what does RCD, DWB, FTW, DBR mean??.. any others too.

so i feel like a douche asking a stupid question but i figured we could write out some of the terminology that ya'll are using... for me and the newbie's here at RF.

so i was wondering what these mean:

FTW-

DWB-

RCD- i know this is some kind of suspension but not sure what it does

DBR-

i've seen ya'll using them quite a bit but some of us are truck stupid like me hahaha!!! also add some other one's that you can think of... thanks.


EDIT: here's a list from the 5 pages for a quick reference that are vehicle related.


FTW= for the win
DWB= deep wedgewood blue
RCD= brand of suspension lift
DRB= not sure i think its another paint color
DBR is dixon brothers suspension
RCD is race car dynamics
LMAO - laugh my *** off
RF = Ranger-Forums (thought i'd get this one too just in case ya'll forgot!!!)
DSG- Dark Shadow Grey
VB - Vista Blue
FML F*ck my life
SAS -Solid axle swap
BL- Body lift
SL- Suspension lift
aal - Add a leaf
TTB=Twin Traction Beam (twin ibeam suspension style usually the 4x4 dana 28,35,44,50 set ups)
PWND = Pawned
LOL - laugh at loud
ROFL- roll on the floor laughing
SFA- solid front axle
FTMFW- for the mother fing win

IIRC - If I Remember Correctly

BFH - big f'n hammer
BFI - brute force and ignorance
FTW - F' the world
S/C= Supercharged
A/C= Air Conditioning
HCV= Heater Control Valve
E-FAN= Electric Fan.
TT= torsion twist
FWIW - for what its worth
TRE- tie rod end
UBJ- upper ball joint
LBJ- lower ball joint
PATS - passive anti theft system
IFS - Independent front suspension
IRS - Independent rear suspension, Internal Revenue Service
AWD - all wheel drive
SC - super, supercharged, southern california, south carolina
IIRC - If I recall corrently
IAC - Idle Air Control
AIC - Alice in Chains
STOP - Spin Tires On Pavement (this one is great!!!)
FIAT - Fix It Again Tony (haha)
ROFLFH-Rolled On Floor Laughing F'ing Hard

RCD actually stands for Race Car Dynamics, they just happend to make a coilover conversion lift kit for the 98+ rangers.

its powned.. or better yet

pwned.. leet speek now, but started as a mispell back in the 80's 90's from hackers using onwed alot. the mispell stuck as a cool way of saying it. just like how people use teh instead of the, and !!!111. just a bunch of weird leet speak or computer speak. and leet,1337 or l33t is just a word used like elite.

wow i didnt think i'd get this many responses!! haha hopefully it will help out some of the truck noobs..

SFA- solid front axle. lots of guys on the s10forum.com use SFA instead of SAS.

whats FTWFW mean??
