I guess the first thing I really did to the truck was replace the "racing" pedals the previous owner put on with stock ones. The racing pedals were awful and kept slipping off.
The second "mod" was to replace the awful factory AM/FM radio with a slightly better AM/FM/Cassette radio out of an F-150. It only cost me about $10, and at the time it was worth it. It at least gave me the ability to play CDs with one of those cassettes that plugs into a CD player. I was 16 at the time with no money, so a $100 CD player was not really an option. As soon as I had the money, I replaced it with an AM/FM/CD/RDS premium head unit out of another F-150 which I still have today.
