WHEEL HELP

I HAVE A 99 FORD RANGER WITH THE CHROME WHEELS AND I WAS WONFERING THERE IS SOME WAY U CAN PAINT THEM BLACK IF SO CAN U GUYS HELP ME AND TELL ME HOW THANKS!

Scuff them up and then paint them with Duplicolor black wheel paint. Make sure they're clean.

I just use a green scuff pad on mine. Lay off the caps lock...

FROM YOUR AVATAR, YOU DON'T HAVE CHROME WHEELS! THOSE ARE POLISHED ALUMINUM WITH A CLEARCOAT!

*cough*

Since it is clearcoat you want to paint over, a fine grit (800ish) sandpaper will work well to scuff it up. In my experience, the scuff pads are a bit too coarse on paint, though they do work well on chrome.

thats a different truck i flipped that one now i have a different one with CHROME wheels

Did the old truck have clear coated aluminum wheels? If so, then the Ninja skilz did work, as I said "according to your avatar". BooYah!

the truck in the avatar DOES have aluminum with clear coat. i have the same stock wheels sitting in my basement.
and i sandblast everything so thats what i would do lol

and as posted above he said they arent the wheels in the avatar, he has different chrome ones, not clear-coated aluminum ones, just a heads up
