My Xrays came back positive for a fracture in my vertebrae in my spine I'm at the hospital about to be immobilized and a cat scan

It'll be well into next year before you go back to work.



Have someone else go clean out the Ranger for you. Take off what you can sell that isn't hard to get off (like a BL). No reason to let good aftermarket stuff go to waste. We live off used inventory :)

If you get discharged due to injuries I would sue the **** outta the lady for lost income.

 

I already got everything out of the ranger the truck was gone at 0800 cdt this morning usaa owns it now from what I was told

 

find out how much they want for it salvage. might be worth your time.

Hey Steven hang in there your young you will heal, it sucks in the short term but in time you will recover. Get on their insurance to make sure you get the treatment you deserve. Also check into civilian doctors that specialize in this type of injury. Your doctor bills are covered by the other parties insurance so get the best. Hope you have a speedy recovery!

Talked to my son in law last night he was surprised the truck he saw was an MP's doesn't know you by name. Asked him to look you up but looks like he is headed to Korea for a year if his CID transfer doesn't go through.

she is 100% at fault according to insurance and the police report,,the police report also said she was ticketed for reckless/careless driving and financial responsibiliy ( out of date insurance card)


usaa has my truck and they are appraising it in between now and friday and they said by next week i will know if its totaled for sure and if its totaled how much i will be getting but they told be according to the info i gave that they are 90% positive its going to be totaled because its a 9 year old truck with over 100k

 

i went to the stealership today and they have a 2004 ford explorer sport trac fully loaded with a bed cover and 69k miles for 12500

 

I still can't believe you are getting $9k for that thing. I want someone with her same insurance to rear end me. I need a new bed and rear bumper LOL.

 

little update..im at home on soma muscle relaxers and loritab 7's the ct scan came back positive for a fracture but they are unsure of it happened in the accident or not..next week i have to get a mri done to look at the disks in my back.because on the muscle relaxers im still in pain so they think one or more of my disks in my back are messed up..

still waiting on the adjuster to tell me if the truck is repairable or totaled im going to call tomorrow and see if there is any update as well as update them on the medical status.they told me on the phone that they are 90% positive my truck is going to be totaled.usaa is already in contact with tricare and are working together. i got to goto jag and sign a bunch of paperwork next week..
