Hey guys, i need help once agian...does anyone know how to install xenon lights in my ranger. Its a 98....I cant figure out how to get the lamp out...any pictorials or help is appreciated

 

open your hood. take out the bulb from the headlamp. put in xenon bulb. close hood.

 

your truck have the black tabs?

 

i think the black tabs started in 01 but not positive

 

yeah '98-00 doesnt have the easy-breezy tabs to pull the headlamp assy; they have the lovely metal clips that you have to tediously pry off (3 for each headlamp)..dont mess with the alignment screws because its a major PITA to get them realigned- but to just replace a bulb, there is a black plastic sleeve that you just twist, pull away and pop the bulb out..
