Also picked up some ' other ' items. New short throw shifter to modify for the new tranny..

I did some *healthy* damaging to the CC's.

This is a stupid question, but would the Thunderbolt bodykit mount straight up with the edge? cause i need a new front bumper anyway, and i actually like the look of the kit.

Double checked the rear bar number, it is E97A-5A771-AA, not sure why it does not come up.

I called Hillbank Motorsports, and the T-Bolt sway kits and Roush kits are the identical same parts. I guess the T-Bolt kits are in plain Ford boxes, while the Roush ones come in their box (and probably include some decals and stuff). It's also cheaper to order direct from them (as Bob said), since it's free shipping and you don't have to deal with eBay. Hopefully, I'll be installing mine around Christmas time.

i just looked on ebay and they have the signal mirrors for Roush, but you have to remove the stock mirrors first. is that a pain?

2002~2005 Ranger mirrors are easy. Just rock the mirror to the full "UP" and "IN" position to expose a gap under the bottom.

Then insert a flat blade screwdriver in the rectangular opening under the plastic mirror base from the bottom. Gently twist the screwdriver to pop the glass carrier off. Takes about 15 seconds once you know how:

Here's what the inside of the housing looks like with the mirror popped off. Notice the two slots at 3 o'clock and 6 o'clock where the anti-vibration springs ride:

Here is the back view of a heated mirror but the original Ranger mirror looks similar. You want to pry where shown, NOT at the other rectangular opening that you can see near the lower edge of the mirror:

When reassembling, be sure to line up the two anti-vibration springs in their slots. Then just use even pressure to snap the mirror back onto the adjustment platform in the housing.

Roush used to sell one - it's still shown on their site. According to the guy I talked to at Roush, they sold all of their remaining Ranger inventory to Hillbank. I guess the S/C version is all that's left now.

I'll let ya know. Probably be installing it after Xmas.

I want that exhaust, but my truck is not extended. I wonder if my sawzall could fix that problem.

That exhaust, on roush parts it exits straight out, but on hillbank, it is swept side? Just looks like an extra pipe. But I bought one anyways :p And mirrors!

George- I'll bet that the only difference is the pipe between the last cat and the muffler. I don't know for sure but it seems like it would be fairly easy to adapt.

I'm sure 6 inches off each side of the input pipe would do the job, but then you would need to redo the flanges. My problem is that there are very few muffler shops around here that will help with pipe work. It's a simple job, but they only do "whole systems". I've had my share of begging the local shops for a few minutes of their time.

Either way, my Gibson is still doing ok. I'm also concerned that my 2.3 won't flow enough air to keep the flow correct. Most of the dual systems are really designed for the 4.0.

I still don't know if it's rear exit or corner exit. It's hard to get any accurate info from Hillbank since they are basically just a sales outlet with a bunch of boxed parts. And Roush is no longer interested in Rangers, so they wouldn't tell me anything either. I don't care. I ordered one and I will make it work.

Same here. I thought about getting the intake, but my cut airbox and k&n is working just fine.

Mirrors and exhaust are on the way!

Also, do I need the body kit to make the roll pan work or does it have to go with the body kit? That is the only other thing that I am looking at right now.

It looks to me like the roll pan hangs down too low for use without the body kit.

That sucks. Are you close enough to the border that you can have it shipped to US address, and then pick it up?
