Will a 06 Gague cluster fit a 02

So like the title says will a 06 gauge cluster fit a 02. I know the newer ones have digital displays and stuff. Will it switch over no problem or is it a failed attempt.

Cheers
Chris

They are engineered completely different. Why do you want an 06?

If your wanting to do the White face gauges get one from a 02 Edge they had them

If your just going for the look of the 04+ style gauge you'll have to buy the whole truck

Or you could have something much more unique and get the usspeedo.com kit.

They do have those needles for the 04+ Ranger!
Those ones are the GM ones I have. They need to be reworked (By Rusty from usspeedo) to fit the 2004 ranger shafts. I keep saying this in different posts, but the "2004 Ford Truck" needles that they sell do NOT fit our 2004+ Rangers..

See thats what's in my truck! (I just painted the hats on them)
The actual needle is available in blue, white and red. My hats were silver before I painted them.
You will also need to cut the fuel and temp needles a little bit shorter as they were rubbing on the bezel of the cluster when it went to min and max position. I cut about 1/4" off and they worked perfect. A utility knife works great for this, just be careful.

You guys keep on asking me this, but Rusty is the expert.

The story is this. I bought the "04+ Ford Truck" needles. They were too big for the shafts. I called Rusty, and he checked on a spare 2004 and newer ranger cluster and said "yeah I can see your right they wont work, I have some GM ones that I can get you that will. I believe he took GM ones and slightly made the holes bigger to fit the 2004+ trucks. If are serious about this mod you need to call him and refer him to my thread, or my project.

the phone number is on the www.usspeedo.com webpage, just ask for Rusty. Tell him what you are trying to do, and tell him about my story, the guy was VERY helpful.
