Icon5 After hazard no turn signals

Ever since my son tried out the hazard lights on his truck the turn signals stopped working. I've checked the fuse and even tried a new flasher but the still wont work. What am I missing?
The truck is a '98 Ranger XLT super cab with 4.0 automatic.
Thanks for your help.

check the relay under the steering column. it should have a brown "case" and the relay itself is yellow.

You blew a fuse/relay somewhere.
turn signals and hazards rely on one relay. Your Owners manual will tell you which one.

Do you mean the flasher relay located under the dash or is there another?
