LEDS

I know there's probably a thread about this but i cant find anything. Basically i wanna do plug ins but don't want to scrape off the green filter on the back. if i get blue LED's and just plug them in will it light up blue and vise versa with other colors?

well without wetsanding the green off its gonna have a blue green look.

so if i just sand it off and don't paint the paint on it it will look clear blue?

thats how i did mine. just sanded it clear.

o one thing to think about. blue leds will not light up the needles. just something to think about.

My clear needles glow blue under my blue LED's

i wired up some white leds to illuminate the needles.

I've used green & blue led's in my cluster, never sanded the overlays....
Mine was green OEM but the blue led's look pretty snazzy too.
