Yeah they should work. Can you post a link to the ones you seen?
I had power locks put on my 96 ranger when I had my alarm installed and had no problems.

as long as it's a 'rod type' of lock kit, it'll work. The one I got off ebay even came with the wire color breakdown for my vehicle...so easy install. Even though I havn't installed it yet. lol.

I installed the aftermarket alarm and power door lock kit and it works great. Only problem is when I leave the truck sit for over three days the battery dies. So, I put the system on a switch so I can turn it off.

check your grounds. and 12v you have a huge draw if your battery is dying. what type of alarm did you get?

I had Python power locks on my 99... went well for about a year... at some point though the key no longer worked in the door... was probably an easy fix but I never bothered to look into it

Scytek. I mounted everything on that metal kickpanel inside. When ever I screw the panel back in it shocks me. That is probably bad right?
