My Cruise Control

I took my truck to the dealer to get some things fixed and in the process they screwed up some new things like always..........they turned my airbag light off fixed my door sensors and turned off my engine light after fixing some stuff but now my damn cruise control is disconnected and my ABS light comes!!

so my question is if anyone knows how to turn off the ABS light or turn my cruise control back on i would appreciate it thanks

There was a recall for the cruise, then a recall for the parts that fixed the cruise, so until the get that figured out, it gets disconnected. Dunno if that goes with the ABS problem though...

You could go to the dealer and ask about the issues you have.

Hey.....same deal here.

Went in for the cruise recall, and as soon as i drove out the dealer, the abs light turned on. I immediately called the dealer no more than 2 blocks away from them and they told me it's a completely different system, "has nothing to do with cruise control". So we went at it a little bit....then came here and checked it out. It's a common thing on some trucks is what Bob will tell ya.

My cruise has been disconnected since October. Ford was out of stock at the time but now have found problems with the recall part. So they'll be no cruise for some time.

As for the ABS light. Could be a dirty sensor on the front wheels or a bad sensor in the rear drive axle (on the top of the pumpkin).

They disconnected mine back in october as well. I know where to connect it back, so I will probably do that if I go on any long trips before it gets fixed.

I had the same thing happen with the ABS, but now that I got my CC fixed so is the ABS light.
